Video - Life at Camp Casey, Part 4

The Korean winter has arrived and with it comes snow, and lots of it. But the snow doesn't stop the US Army. Watch as my unit, Alpha Battery 1/38FA completes a successful live fire training exercise in "Rocket Valley" South Korea. We even put a few rounds down range at night. We did so well that the Battalion Commander saw fit to hand out a few awards.

Also included in this video is some old footage from back in 2009-2010 when I was still just a "young" Pfc. at Fort Lewis, Washington.

Double Barrel AR-15? Gilboa Rifle Company Calls it The Snake

Gilboa Rifle Company of Israel has introduced a new AR-15, called "The Snake" which features two barrels! The company says it's going to go into full production in the USA and avoiding classification as a machine gun by adding a second trigger. Although, in my opinion, adding a second trigger kind of defeats the purpose and advantages a second barrel can deliver.

I think that I have been doing a pretty darn good job of keeping up with My Gun Diary given that A) It's a one many show. B) I'm in Korea with no access to my gun collection for 14 more months and C) It's a labor of love. I Don't Agree with New York's SAFE Act but...

I do not agree with the enactment of New York's SAFE Act but this write does a poor job in his opinion of the recent court ruling which upheld it.

Most notably his assertion that the "proliferation" of 3D printers makes it so that anyone can produce them.

Uh, have you taken note of how much 3D printers cost? Let me tell you, not "anyone" can produce a usable magazine from a 3D printer.
