I Better Post Something... A Mosin Nagant 91/30 Sniper Will Do
Sadly, I am unable to post with any regularity for the next month or so due to my attendance at Advanced Leaders Course at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. However, I will, from time to time, do my best to post SOMETHING, ANYTHING.
It's a little frustrating, being stationed in Korea, unable to shoot my guns, clean them, restore them, upgrade them and what not and I really hate the idea of my blog having become something of a picture dump for guns, but, I have little choice. Especially now that I am the Public Affairs Rep. for my unit.
However, rest assured, My Gun Diary will continue to be updated whenever I have time and when I get back the the States in the Spring of 2015, I will be spending a good deal of time on new videos and content. Oh, and I haven't forgotten about a web site redesign, the template is already sitting "in the can" just waiting for me to get back to the good old USA.
In the meantime, here's a sweet photo of a Mosin Nagant 91/30 Snipler rifle.
:)

Re-up You're Crazy!
My reenlistment ceremony was held yesterday, just hours before my Battery rolled out to the field and just one day before I'm to fly back to the States for a one month school (Advanced Leaders Course). I had intended to finish out my current contract and ETS from Korea, however, things being what they are, I had to reenlist in order to fulfill my AIP obligation (one year extension in Korea). With my leave days taken into consideration, I really only added 9-10 months to my current contract. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope I get reassigned back to Fort Lewis.

Comrades at the Range
One of my old platoon mates from Fort Lewis posted some great photos from his day at the range today.
Spc. Zertuche says this about a day at the range, "It's a good release from all the stress factors of everyday life."
I couldn't agree more. I'll have to make a road trip out to see you. I'll bring some of my guns along as well.

Awesome ARs
This is one of the more original AR15 photos I've come across in a long time. Definitely worth a repost.
No photo credit found. If anyone knows who shot this pic I'd sure like to give proper credit. Shoot me an email or leave a comment on this awesome AR!
I wonder how long it took to set up and how many times they had to start over?

Rusty Buys an M1 Carbine
Yesterday, I mistakenly posted the announcement that my good army buddy had purchased a Ruger Mini-14, however, he corrected me and sure enough, that beauty is in fact, an M1 Carbine! It was the scope that threw me off. Don't see many M!'s with a scope.
Looking good with that scope, but I still think my stainless steel Ruger Mini-14 (below) with 40 round stainless magazines is the top dog. Just looks so clean and sleek! EDIT: My Ruger Mini-14 does look sleek and clean, but I simply cannot put it in the same category as an M1 Carbine.

I'm On Vacation
Hello all, firstly, I apologize for the lack of updates but do keep in mind that A) I'm currently stationed in Korea, which makes it a struggle to find substantial gun related updates and news and B) I'm currently away on vacation. Boracay Island, Philippines. Eat your heart out. I'll be back to work soon, more updates are on the way.
In the meantime, you can check out my new photography web site at http://www.FelixGPhoto.com
Here are a few snap shots from paradise...
