The Commander of my Battalion has made Public Affairs a top priority for our unit. As a result, I have been appointed to be the full-time Public Affairs Representative. Normally, this isn't a full-time position. Only at the Brigade level will you find Public Affairs Officers and NCO's. Alas, I'm no longer in the line Battery doing Fire Direction. No complaints here, just spent a week in the field shooting photos while everyone else was conducting normal training exercises! Lucky me.
