I ran across this article recently and it just reminded me of the importance of gun safety. Gun safety is something we should revisit and think about, DAILY!
* Always treat a gun as if it is loaded.
* Never point the gun at anything you're not willing to destroy.
* Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot.
* Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

* Never hand anyone a loaded firearm.
* Always clear a firearm before you hand it to someone.
* Never allow a beginner to handle a firearm above their level of competence.
