I should have an Internet connection in my barracks room sometime next week, at which point I can start posting again with regularity, but here's a couple nice girls with guns photos I ran across today, which should hold you over. And a funny dog with a gun photo!
All is well here in the Republic of Korea.

Gun storage for a truck
Check out this awesome gun storage solution for a pick up truck. Think I can get one of those to fit into a Toyota Prius?

Hello Korea
I've arrived in Seoul, South Korea! I'm at Yongsan until late Monday afternoon, at which time I'll head up towards area 1 where I'll in-process for a week before reporting to my unit. The flight took me from Seattle to Osawa, Japan and finally on to Osan AFB. The drive from Osan to Seoul was about an our and a half. We had a short brief then E-5 and above we're given hotel rooms as the barracks were full. Lucky for me because E-6 and below were supposed have stayed in the barracks.
Seoul is a huge and sprawling city! I look forward to doing a little sightseeing with my time off. I'll take and share lots of photos and videos.
Current local time is 0307am. I'm gong to try and get some more sleep.

Mental health and guns satire
This is the biggest issue facing society, access to mental health care and identifying people who need to get help.
My First Lee Enfield, 1917 BSA Mk III
Today's purchase, my first ever Lee Enfield, was bittersweet in that it is my final firearms acquisition before my reassignment to Korea. I'll give her a good cleaning (she needs it) and also apply the same long-term storage gun grease before I sock it away in storage, along with the rest of my lovelies, until I return in two years. I have 80 rounds of British .303 but I won't have an opportunity to put any rounds through this magnificent rifle prior to my report date. All good things come to those who wait.
It's a 1917 BSA Mark III SMLE. It's in pretty good shape, put it on layaway at my local Cabela's a couple months ago and picked it up today.

Rifle for a 5 year old
This is the only rifle that you should buy for a five year old, IMO, not a .22.
Sad story but also a terrible decision.

240B Machine Guns
The cavalry troop that occupies the operating area next to my unit had their 240B machine guns laid out for an inspection today. I couldn't resist getting a photo of them all lined up in a row, impressive sight to say the least. I counted about 12 of them. I think they go for around 20k a piece?
