I've been wanting to buy a shot gun for a while now. I know that they are ideal for home defense but I never thought I'd have so much fun taking it out to the range. I purchased this C.A.I. double barrel from Buds Gun Shop
I would have purchased it from a local gun shop but no one had anything similar in stock and I wasn't prepared to spend more than $300 on my first shot gun.
As you can see by the photos, it's a very good looking shot gun and a great value, priced below $300. You can't miss the big smile on my face in the video. I'll definitely be looking to add a more robust shotgun for home defense in the near future, but for now, this is my first choice for home defense, especially since I picked up a box of Winchester PDX1 Defender Ammo which features 1 rifled slug and 3 plated 00 buck pellets. Serious ammo for home defense!

One last note for this blog entry. I picked up my Kimber Pro Carry II .40 from the gun smith. I took it to a small shop called Bolle and Tammaro. Their web page leaves a lot to be desired but they do good work. Just give them a call if you need work done in the Tacoma, WA area. (253) 531-2930.
They did a great job polishing the feed ramp, but I had two failures to feed at the range last night, one during rapid fire. Overall, the Kimber performed better, but I want it to be completely flawless. My next step is to install a new recoil spring. If that doesn't work, I'll sadly have to sell it. Ugh.
Well i would suggest in the future you perform "SPORTS" while shooting. Maybe that will help you!!! LOL,
ReplyDeleteI cycled it pretty quick, ejected the stuck round and fired off the next 3 rapidly. Is it still called SPORTS with a pistol?
