What Have I Been Up To?

My sincerest apologies for the scant few updates to the blog. By the way, My Gun Diary is nearing 100,000 views! Since my assignment as Unit Public Affairs Representative, I have turned my photographic attention to my Army unit, 1st Battalion 38th Field Artillery MLRS.

You'll start seeing updates from my army photos regularly, something I should have been doing all along. This way I can continue to keep the blog updated and you, the reader, can enjoy following along with my exploits.

I highly recommend "Liking" my units Facebook page so you can see all the updates instantly. It's a great unit and we do lots of cool stuff. Live Rocket Launcher training, unit team building, awards, ceremonies, all that Army stuff. I'm also campaigning to get more "Likes" than our Brigade's Facebook page. So please go to our page and "LIKE" it! Thanks https://www.facebook.com/SteelBehindTheRock

Here are some photos from the recent Air Assault School held here in Korea.

The Army Paid Me To Bungee Jump (Video)

As you know, if you've been following my blog, one of the reasons for fewer updates this year, is my recent appointment to the position of Unit Public Affairs Representative. The result of which means I am shooting more photos and videos, however, they are for my units Facebook page and other various army publications. But sometimes, I get to do some cool stuff that I can share with you such as the day of bungee jumping which I photographed and videotaped last week for the famed 333rd FTAB Battery, based out of Camp Casey, Korea, part of the 1-38 "Steel" Field Artillery MLRS Battalion.

It was a lot of fun shooting this video AND having the opportunity to bungee jump myself (with cameras) for the first time ever.

"THREE ROUNDS!"

If you'd like to see the photos I've been taking for my unit, just follow the "Steel Behind the Rock" Facebook page right here.
