Video - Here's Why I Was Unable to Zero My Eagle Arms AR15 with MAGPUL MBUS Flip-Up Sights

I went out to the range a couple of weeks ago, with my new friend Nick. We both had AR15's that we needed to zero and well, I messed up. We both had Magpul MBUS flip-up sights so I looked online to see which way to mount them and well, I got it wrong. When we got to the range, I looked at Nick's sights and according the photo I found on the internet, they were on backwards, but it was the photo that had it wrong and we spent half the morning trying to figure out why we couldn't zero his rifle. He finally pointed out that he though they were on backwards and he was right. So we fixed my dumb error and finally got his rifle zeroed. But my shots were way over the top of the paper target. I kept turn my front sight post until it couldn't turn anymore and I still wasn't on the paper.

I left the range without zeroing my Eagle Arms AR15. I compared the Eagle Arms AR15 with my Sig Sauer M400 and what I found was that the gas block on the Eagle Arms AR15 was a 1/4 inch shorter than the gas block on the Sig Sauer. Ahhhh.

So I simply swapped sights on my two rifles. I put the red dot sight on the Eagle Arms and the Magpul MBUS flip-up sights on my Sig Sauer, but now I needed to go back to the range and zero both rifles.
