Camp Blanding Military Museum - Starke, Florida

My affinity for military museums is no secret, so when I was sent to Camp Blanding, Florida on official duty recently, I made sure to set aside a little time to check out the Camp Blanding Museum. Camp Blanding was a major training center for the Army during World War II and is now a Florida National Guard and Reserve training base.

By most standards, it's a small museum, but the outdoor displays are impressive and plentiful. I didn't get around to photographing all of the outdoor displays but I managed to snap some nice photos of the indoor displays and about half the outdoor.

Enjoy!

  1. The growing concerns, and subsequent research and development have resulted in the development of newer protective clothing concepts – that entails a complete makeover. The availability of better material, like fiber and composite material prepared with advanced technology, has enabled the companies – involved in the manufacturing of high quality Body Armor that fits into every job requirement and specifications perfectly – to come out with practical solutions.
